Created in 1750 as part of a series of improvements to the city, it originally consisted of a large grass-sown area and earned the name "Boulingrin" from the English "Bowling Green". Elm trees and a variety of flowers were added at a later stage. The park also features statues and a bandstand.
Nowadays, banks of flowers, formal planted beds and wide tree-lined pathways give this park undeniable charm. http://www.uk.toulouse-tourisme.com/walks-and-exploring-the-jardin-du-grand-rond,1211577,28,127
