DAY 8 5th May Bluff-Invercargill-Manapouri. Doubtfull Sound trip. Cost $200.
DAY 9 6th May Manapouri – Queenstown. Earnslaw cruise on Lake Wakatipu. Probably stay in Arrowtown that night. an historic gold-mining town with an interesting museum of the Chinese gold miners.
DAY 10 7th May Arrowtown - Haast. viaWanaka, Lake Hawea and Haast Pass. Visit Conservation Department information centre.
DAY 11 8th May Haast to Franz Josef Fox Glacier. Glacier walk. Cost $109. On to Westport
DAY 12 9th May Westport – Ashburton.
