This is the continuation of the Richmond Park, which is the largest park under Royal Park management and sit in the SW of London. The park was originally the hunting ground for the royals. The original park site was enclosed in 1630's. Last time I took some picture on Richmond Hill, which was protected by the law, the first of its kind in the world.
I went to the park again last Friday. It was hardly any people there and I was able to get into the heart of the park and getting closer to the famous deer.
Currently there are around 700 deer roaming in the park in different herds. They are mainly into two groups, Red and Fallow. Do not get close to them during the mating or nursing seasons.
