I went to Philippine last November due to Apec meetingDuring that time I heard many friends also news that the air was super great. they call it apec蓝.well,I didn't have chance to appreciate this,but I was in Philippine!I saw more different and wonderful scenery there!!I had lots of fun. Actually last year,many events came up that Chinese people were killed or robbed there by local people.Most chinese people were afraid of going there.just before we decided to go,we saw several information from the governmental website which said officially we had better not go there in case some bad things happened.But to go to Philippine is cheap and nobody would like to go why not?!We wanna try!So me and my roommate started this plan around a week ago before we went there.It was quite tight but we made it step by step. Firstly,we found a travel agency to do visa on Taobao.They are in Shanghai so we just needed to send our passports,forms,photos to them.Not like Beijing,we even need interviews!then we ordered the air tickets.since we were not sure if we would get the visa,we ordered the tickets till we got the accurate inform that we got the visa.But the price was not that good but we had no leeway.For save money and taking visa,we needed to fly to shanghai firstly,took the visa,then fly to Manila.This is the first time for me to go abroad.I was excited and calm.I wanted to plan everything flawlessly.It was good but you can never imagine the changeable situation in a new country.So just enjoy yourself,don't think and plan much. I took half day leave firstly on Nov.6th because I need to catch the plane from Shijiazhuang,Hebei. Then I took another half day off when I flew back to Beijing from Manila.so totally it took me 7 days.it was little bit tired journey but more fun. Nov.6thNov.6th I left from my company at 11:30am,then I went to the train station to take a fast train to Shijiangzhang,then took airport bus to the airport then waited for the plane for shanghai.It was late so till 11:00pm I got the plane and it was around 12:00am next day I arrived in Shanghai.Finally took a taxi to a hostel.then booked the tickets to Manila.Everything we did is just step by step not earlier,but on time.I just slept 1.5 hours... My friend got our passports from her friend.He is nice enough to help us to get our passports back from the agency so we have enough time to come and take and leave.we finally met at Shanghai airport and took the plane for Manila! Nov.7thNov.7th Philippine Airline:)nice airsteward,good food.Next,we came out from the plane and passed the corridor,filled the form,got the stamp.Good mood all the way. But when we got our from the airport,we got cheated on the airport bus(There was a local boy who told us to take the bus 800p and made us choose quickly cuz we had to catch another flight to go to Boracay.That's why.I was not glad because both of us are not rich people.But my friend told me that was natural.We knew nobody here,just be happy.After crossing crowded street(full of motorcycles and tricycles)we arrived at Terminal 4.Such a small and old airport.Only here we can catch the local airline.We took Cebu airline this time. Mentioned about Cebu airline.People waiting here have been used to it.Their flight almost never on time.We waited for 1.5 hours...But I made a mistake when we took it second time.I will mention it in the following part about Bohol. After we got out from the plane this time,it was dark outside.I asked a nice lady how we could go to Boracay.She told us patiently the way,which company to choose.Then we chose SOUTHWEST,that was a very long way but 550p all included....A van took us to another airport which is also a dock named Caticlan.it was 1.5 hours or so.There were several indian guys and black guys who talking loudly I didn't focus on what they said but worried if they were safe.Some news popped into my mind that Indian people discriminate against women,black people shoot and rob in the USA...I know what I thought makes you think I am racism.But I am a cautious person especially when I firstly went abroad. lol Anyway,everything went well just they were so noisy.Then we finally saw people and light!but it was just a beginning.We needed to take a boat.we waited for the boat for about 20 mins then we needed to take another public traffic tool to Boracay. There were around ten people in a car(I have no idea what exactly I can call it,passengers sit on both sides,luggage on the top floor,sometimes people can go to top if no enough space)The road was not flat,the driver drove fast.We were the last passengers.But we finally arrived at our hotel!!MNL hostel.Brilliant!need sleep need rest..... Nov.8th Nov.8th we got up early for the sunrise but we failed,really tired.But still we got nice scenery.Then had sweet lunch and went to Puka beach then came back to white beach had dinner,come back to plan for second day.No more words to explain just see the picutures。Long beach is not very long,but they have fine sand and blue water.You can also have fun with the entertainment near the beach.It is very convenient for you to eat,drink and rest especially when you order a hostel near to beach,it could be high price.but who cares,some Tuhao even buy villas which includes beach for their private resorts.There is a T mall close to the beach,colorful houses,you can buy beautiful hats,swimming suits,clothes here.of course bars and restaurants.We tried local food as lunch just ok..Poka Beach is full of shells.You can find a big bunch of cloud just on your head.Sand is not very soft but it is cool,different feeling from white beach.Then we took the tricycle to back to white beach for dinner.It was another feeling during the night.Mentioned about the mexican food there we ordered,I had to miss the mexican food in Beijing.It was not good at all.Anyway,lots of career people went there,we pretended that we were Korean.That was a way for us to avoid local people's attack or rob maybe...lol I had to say it was really fun that you can have zumba there outside with the local coach.We came back to hostel and continued to plan what we will do tomorrow,not enough sleep Nov.9th We got up little bit earlier this time to see the sunrise from another beach,no idea the name but great.The nice boss of this hostel told us.Then we took tricycle,van to Calibo airport.We chose CBTMPC this time for the Calibo just because no time to choose.We thought we didn't need to be hurry cuz Cebu airline was always late.But we both wrong.They had already taken off 30 mins earlier.I arrived there 15mins earlier.So we had to buy a new ticket and live near here for a night,which meant we had one day less for Bohol island.Anyway,remember:Always 1 hours earlier to be in the airport!!!! So we spent about one afternoon living near to this airport.we booked a hotel nearby,walked around,went to a chinese restaurant.we felt that it was better to stay in the hotel cuz the eyes of the local people here were wired and unsafe.Like I said before I am a cautious person but I always trust what I felt.We spent the afternoon by watching tv,sleeping.It was a good rest though.Nov.10th, We got up at 7:00am,took shower,had breakfast and took a tricycle to the airport AGAIN.We didn't see the staff we saw last time when we were late.kind of missing them as soon as I recollected that they helped us to book the tickets patently and nicely. Took some picture in the air!!! Good mood stroke me lol It was just about 1 hour we arrived in Cebu airport.Then we changed some money and took a public transportation to go to the berth for Bohol island.I just remembered after we arrived at the berth,we entered to buy the tickets.I could see nobody just a hand taking out for money and gave me the ticket back which I had no way to ask more but got the tickets.On the boat,we were the only foreigners basically.But the people were very nice,some of them tried to give us space to sit even it was quite hard to have that.There was a guy keeping looking at us all the way.What I could do was keep calm and smile...After we got off the boat we realized that it was not bohol island.That scene that I bought tickets in Cebu reminded me that I didn't get right boat.But luckily we could still buy tickets from here to bohol island.More luckily,there is a handsome guy asked us if we needed help maybe he found us not local.He helped us to fill the form and told the staff which boat we needed to take.Finally we got the tickets and he waved his driver to leave and said goodbye to us.Nice guy,I hoped next time I could meet one guy like this and had more stories lol..Ok,then we took another boat in a better place for waiting that.Again,the boat would be late,For making the tourists happy,there were some blind people who could do massage for you and also a band one or two of which are blind did live show.I felt the people here were so lovely!!!Then we caught the boat and found the hotel then we went to the local supermarket,they sold the oil quite strange with packing in the plastic bags.they had different spice with us and culture shock..Nov.11thNov.11th we went to see the tarsier,chocolate hills.We took public transportation all the way for save money but we had close contact with the local people.they were really nice I had to say it again.we talked on the bus,they always told us where should we go nicely.When we rested in a store,there was a guy who told us if we went to a place to see the river market,we didn't how to get there and no more time.He took us by his motercycle for free,but I still gave him tips for appreciation. Under the help of the hotel staff,we took another public car to go to Alona beach this afternoon after we finishing all these things.So we would have one more day left,we started to miss this place when thinking about it.When we finally closed to our hotel,the local students helped us to take down to our luggage to the ground.and they with the driver didn't leave till they made sure we found the hotel:) how movable they are!!!The hotel we chose this time was not quite near from the beach but it was like normal. Cuz this beach is just not that convenient compared to white beach.The boys there are very nice they took us with the car to change money and to the beach.We tried to find a agent to do snorkel and deep diving.There was a chinese company there which can provide deep diving service with chinese coach but was quite expensive.I learnt before that it was expensive and not very good.They just wanna earn lots of money from Chinese people.So we chose a local person.They talked and talked,but I had no idea how much exactly we should pay.so I just asked a guy talking chinese passing by me about the price.He told me local people didn't charge a lot and we could try it.So we booked a boat to see the dophin in early morning,then went to virgin island to take some picture and do snorkel and see turtles.I tried to negotiate with the local person in case they cheated on us again but I felt he was not that bad from his eyes and his clothes.I felt I should have kept good temper to them.The next day when that guy drove his moterbike to come to pick us up,I felt I didn't want to negotiate with them,they were not easy,they had their families kids to support and they had not chance to come out from here but lived here to earn money through these day by day.I just felt sad in my inner heart and don't know why till now.maybe I have more sympathy...I think I am just a person with soft heart.The guy who drove the boat,his job was not easy,the guy who took us to do snorkel,he needed to be in the water all the time to earn money.Anyway,I got more consideration then fun the last day.I thought maybe one day I should do some volunteer work in some countries or some place like these.Nov.12thNov.12th Last day on the Alona beach to see turtle and do snorkelI forgot to mention that we could not do deep diving because we need to take a plane in 48 hours.It was a pity really.It was not easy to see the cliff like that.I couldn't find the pictures we took by the waterproof cameras.We had some turtles ;)But my memory didn't fade. I don't know why my camera didn't work well during these two days in Bohol. Maybe too hot there.so the pictures I sent for these two days were not good quality.But those places were also cool.Still Alona for me just like the people living in white beach said,there were ghosts in bohol island.I felt not very funny there compared to white but different.on Nov.12th after we finished these,we flew back to MNL and lived there for a night but need to got up early to catch the plane for Beijing on Nov.13th We flew back to Beijing from MNL on Nov.13th early morning.We then could get a taxi to the airport from the money we saved these days lol anyway,I love that place and lovely people there.I hope I will come there again maybe Palawan!!!For the friends who consider if it is safe to travel this country,my answer is definately yes.We two girls went there and had a lot of fun. Don't be scared and do not do plan because the people there are nice enough to plan it for you lol
