The transport museum is an excellent display of really interesting and evocative exhibits. All items are excellently displayed and the whole thing is fun yet educational. As an added bonus there are great views of the Hull Trawler the Arctic Corsair particularly from the first floor and like all the museums in Hull is free of charge. A real credit to the city of Hull.
This is a brilliant museum, free to enter. You're route through it is like a journey through time, explaining geology and geography of the area. There are many fine exhibits from the stone age, ancient Britons, Romans Saxons Vikings. and the medieval era. A preserved iron age boat from the Humber, mock up of an ancient British village. Roman streets, shops and mosaics. It really is an under advertised treasure trove.
