Info

The Parlement de Bretagne, in the old town of Rehn, was destroyed by a fire by fishermen demonstrating in 1994, and was rebuilt as the seat of the court of appeal.

Last year, I happened to pass by on World Heritage Day and saw a lot of people queuing up to watch it. It will take a lot of time to walk around and talk about the history of each room under the guidance of the responsible commentator. It's gorgeous. It's interesting to take photos and explain the history. If it happens to be open, don't put it in.

It's a very regular yard with beautiful gardening. It's not far from the railway station. Just stop by.

During the French Revolution, the Brittany parliament lost its role in politics, but retained its role as a court. In 1994, due to the involvement of fishermen's violence, the fire broke out and suffered a certain degree of damage. After restoration, it was opened to the public in 1999.
