Oxford castle is a castle with a history of more than 1000 years. Oxford castle can be traced back to Henry I's time. Originally, Henry I's daughter Matilda should inherit the throne. Unexpectedly, her cousin Steven repented of usurping the throne and imprisoned Matilda. After that, Britain fell into civil war. Oxford castle was once in ruins until it was commandeered as a prison by the government in the 19th century.

We didn't climb the top of the tower, because we didn't feel that it was so commanding point to climb to the top. The scenery we saw may be general. Haha, we can climb the top in more time.
