The British Railway Museum is a museum in Yorkshire, England. As a part of the British Museum of science group, the museum tells the railway story from the beginning of the 19th century to the present. Its main collection is mainly about the development and history of British railway, including the introduction of the influence of British Railway on the development of modern industry and society in Britain. It has the most locomotive exhibits in the world, including the famous Flying Scotsman.

Maybe I'm not interested in this. Although it's the name of the country (so free, but donate is encouraged), I didn't find it very interesting, so I forgot this when I went through the British Museum. You can come and have a look if you have time or bring your baby. After all, York City is so big.

这天要驱车北上4个多小时到达爱丁堡，本来想吃过早点直接出发，但有舍不得国家铁路博物馆，毕竟作为最早拥有铁路的国家，他的铁路博物馆还是值得一看的，尤其是带着四个男孩子，就更没有不去的理由了。于是赶在博物馆一开门我们就进去了，博物馆就建在约克火车站旁边，看看最早的火车和现在的火车，感觉一下时代的变迁。

今天主打约克国家铁路博物馆，就在约克火车站旁边。火车站内有高架桥直接通到博物馆，免费参观！10点开门到5点关门～进门就有卖Miniature Railway和Steam rides的车票，提前买好，省得里面排队再买，三个人21 £。大小朋友们都会很喜欢里面有火车餐厅和喝下午茶的车厢Countess of York～

关于约克，如时间充足另有几个推荐去处：英国最大风车【霍尔盖特风车Holgate Windmill】就在市郊，【国家铁路博物馆National Railway Museum】很值得一游，【圣玛丽修道院遗址St. Mary's Abbey】，约克盛产巧克力【英国约克郡巧克力博物馆York's Chocolate Story York】。

As a pioneer of industrial revolution, railway station is a miniature. There's no more time to go to the Railway Museum, so I'd better take a look at the railway station; that's the plan for the strategy. The small railway station, which was put into use in 1877, was the largest arched dome in the world at that time; we were like walking through the tunnel of time and space; the ancient big bell was York's Micro chapter. Is there a piano in the waiting room of the railway station? Originally thought to be a decoration, Mr. Cheng Liming still works by bending his fingers, even though the keys are less functional. Piano piece: to Alice's melodious piano sound is echoing over the old waiting hall of York railway station. Nearby passengers may stop to listen, nod and smile, and affirm the excellent performance and applause of Mr. Cheng. It's not just a person's glory, it's a Chinese tourist's glory. Because, every tourist represents the image of China; you and I are responsible for maintaining it! Thank you, Mr. Cheng, for bringing glory to our country!
