Dunvergen castle is located in dunvergen, Skye Island, on the west coast of Scotland. This is where the head of the McLeod family is. Dunwigan castle is the oldest castle in Scotland that has been inhabited for nearly 800 years and has been the center of the McLeod family. Originally designed to keep people out, it was first opened to tourists in 1933. Since then, dunwigan has been named one of Scotland's best tourist attractions to support the local economy in Northwest Skye. The castle has many important family relics, the most important of which are "fairy flag" and "dunvegan Cup". Dengweigen fairy flag is the most precious and precious property of the family. The fabric, once dyed yellow, was silk from the Middle East (Syria or Rhode), and experts have identified its date between the 4th and 7th centuries, in other words, at least 400 years before the First Crusade. At present, visitors can visit the Chateau and the highland manor, take a boat to see the seals or fish in the lake dunwigen, stay in the farmhouse of the manor, and browse in four shops. Activities in the area include walking, fishing, sightseeing, shopping, tourism, etc. Sir Walter Scott, Dr. Johnson, Queen Elizabeth II of the UK and Emperor Akihito of Japan have all visited dunwigan castle.
