The museum introduces in great detail the complicated and exciting preparations before the battle of Normandy: how the Allies deciphered the German code, how to win the Atlantic war, how to gather millions of soldiers and astronomical materials to Britain, how to find the right time for landing through accurate weather forecast, and how to Research and development of man-made mobile terminals to ensure the logistics supply of landing forces, how to plan all kinds of intelligence warfare to transfer the main German force from Normandy to Canada Modern war is a systematic project combining industrial, technological and organizational forces. It's no longer the kind of military genius commander who can turn things around with a move. The battle started in an invisible and unimaginable way, and its outcome was predestined before millions of Allied troops boarded the ship and went to the battlefield. As for the fighting in the battlefield, it was just the last stage of the irrelevant situation - so the museum did not focus on the battle process after landing.

There is a lot of Navy stuff on display, as well as a history of the Normandy landings. Not bad, but it's not big.

After watching it, I finally know what D-Day means. I met an old soldier and took a picture with him while enjoying afternoon tea in the museum restaurant.

Those who like history can go and have a look - there are many veterans there who are responsible for explaining. There are models, audio-visual materials and so on in the library. It's very small. I finished reading them in half an hour

Very detailed explanation of the history of World War II, time axis with some of the clothing embroidery at that time very clearly restore the history. From Hitler's invasion of neighboring countries, such as Norway, France and even Britain, museums have carefully described that the films of one minister for about 20 minutes all adopt the pictures of World War II. After visiting, this familiar history seems to reappear.
