教堂的西立面有两座王冠似的双塔，中心是一座高65米的四方塔。 外立面采用尖拱、飞扶壁和修长花窗这些哥特式建筑为特点，恢弘而壮丽。 约克大教堂是英国最大的哥特式教堂，1220年开始建造，直到200年后的1474年才算大功告成。 在当时它是英国最大的教堂，建筑平面几乎相当于两个足球场大小。

Info
York Minster, also known as St. Peter's Cathedral, is the largest existing church in Europe in the middle ages, and one of the most exquisite churches in the world in design and architecture. The church was first built in 627 A.D. as a timber structure, it was later destroyed in the civil war. In 1060, the Normans captured York and built the first Norman church. The cornerstone and basement of the church can still be seen today.

It's a very spectacular Gothic building with a history of more than 700 years. You can walk around and have a look. You need tickets to enter, but it's worth it.

York Cathedral is the largest existing medieval church in Europe. Gothic architecture is very spectacular and beautiful. When we go to the back, we still see red fruits on the ground. We pick them up and take photos. We are very happy.

York City Walls约克城墙，约克城墙是一座由罗马人建造的长达5公里的正方形城墙，作为防御外敌的屏障。从火车站进入市区就可以看到这些城墙。 城墙以约克大教堂为中心，绕城墙一圈大约需要2个小时。在约克，登城口被称为“Bar”，登城墙的入口包括北边的Bootham Bar和西南边的Micklegate Bar，还有东北边的Monk Bar和东南方的Walmgate Bar。
