Glasgow botanical garden is a botanical garden and park at the western end of Glasgow, Scotland. This Glasgow botanical garden is a typical British Garden, which shows the beauty of man-made nature. Choose the species of plants, so the landscape in the garden is different in four seasons; plan the planting location, so the distribution of plants has a sense of hierarchy. Naturally, plants should be allowed to grow freely to minimize unnecessary pruning. The botanical garden, which was established in 1817 and operated by the Royal Botanical Association of Glasgow, was originally used for the University of Glasgow, as well as for concerts and other activities. In 1891, the botanical garden was merged into Glasgow City Park and botanical garden. The botanical garden is characterized by several greenhouses, the most famous of which is the kibble palace. Built in 1860's, Qibo palace is made of iron and inlaid with nearly 100000 pieces of glass. Qibo palace moved from John Qibo's home to Glasgow botanical garden in 1873. It was originally used for exhibitions and performances, but later it was gradually used to cultivate some temperate plants. Besides plants, there are also some sculptures in Qibo palace.
