上斯洛特是个特别小的村庄，有几棵大树的三角形花坛，就是村中心了。周围一圈米黄色石墙的屋子，院墙也都用石头垒造。 上斯洛特村南面有一个很漂亮的酒店：君王酒店，一个漂亮的花园里，几幢和村里房子一样外观的小楼，里面的装饰古典而雅致。酒店就是在当地房屋的基础上改造的，隐藏在村里一点都不突兀。

下斯劳特村不大，看完开车去上斯劳特村转了一圈，本想在村外空地航拍，结果显示GPS无法联结，只好做罢。

It's not a long walk, because the scenery on the road is so beautiful that I don't feel like walking at all. I want to take photos everywhere. Upper slaughter is 4 miles from lower slaughter. There is a 15th century manor in this town, which is now a hotel in the town.

而沿着River Eye往上游走，便可以一直走到上斯劳特村。斯劳特村有着1000多年的历史，村子中大部分建于16、17世纪的房子是用的一种叫Cotswold沙岩的石材，而建于19世纪的Old Mill Museum所在的水磨坊则用的是红砖↓
