When I went to Luxembourg on Christmas day in 2018, I passed mace and only visited the bishop Church of mace. This new temple of mace was seen during the meal. Compared with Paris, Metz is more comfortable. The scenery is good, and the river is clean. It doesn't have the smell of piss everywhere... There are several restaurants on the Bank of the river. It's good to enjoy the scenery and eat delicious food

This is a Protestant church, so no statues are allowed in it. (this is the easiest place to distinguish from Catholic Church) so we usually look at it on the bridge of Mosel river. It's very beautiful. p. S. the church is in the center of the city, but it's still quiet.

Walking along the Mosel River, you can reach it. There is a bridge nearby which is a good viewing point. You can also walk back to the cathedral along the river under the bridge.
