作者功课没做足，漏了市中心的不少一些重要历史建筑。其实里尔分成两块区域介绍，随着人口增加，有里尔老城区和里尔新城区。位于老城区广场市中心的不少著名建筑都没介绍。里尔市政厅的钟楼就是著名建筑。法国北部和比利时的钟楼被联合国教科文组织（UNESCO）列入世界文化遗产名录的。里尔维耶证券交易所也是一个很有特色的建筑，建于1652-1653，在1921年就被列为法国历史古迹。还有里尔大教堂，是法国重要的国家墓地之一
