The first half of the journey is basically the route to Edinburgh Castle yesterday, until the fork in the wrong way into Edinburgh Seminary, along the path to the bottom of the hill (North), walking towards Prince Street. On the right, you can see the path to Prince Street Park. The first thing I saw was the Scottish National Gallery. I think it's a large building in Edinburgh. There is a spacious area on the east side of the museum. There is a model of the old city of Edinburgh, made of copper. Several famous scenic spots have been illuminated by tourists. The little bright spot in the middle is where we are now. Looking to the East, you can just overlook Prince Street Park, a large area of green land. If it is in the afternoon, there will be a lot of leisure people. Many big European cities have rail transit.

Prince Street garden is picturesque, which is the boundary between the old city and the new city of Edinburgh, and also one of the most famous gardens in Scotland. In the garden stands a 200 foot high Scott monument in memory of Sir Walter Scott, a famous Scottish writer. Through its 287 steps and narrow steps, you can reach the viewing platform on the spire, overlooking the downtown and surrounding scenery of Edinburgh. When it's sunny, both locals and tourists like to relax in the sun on the broad lawn or bench in the garden.

Tips
Due to the construction of Princes Street tram, taking The bus requires getting off at George Street, or the north section of the Mound, or the south section of Hanover Street, or the north section of Lothian Road, or the Waverley Bridge.

虽然离圣诞节还有半个月的时间，但英国的大街小巷已然满是圣诞的氛围。在王子大街旁边的王子街花园，圣诞集市的店铺簇拥在层层叠叠的花园阶梯上，入夜后亮起了星星点点的鹅黄色灯光，像极了千与千寻里描绘的集市。

我们居住的是王子街花园对面的民宿，三楼的我们可以越过花园望见远处的爱丁堡城堡。

由于爱丁堡真的太冷了，下午先回酒店修整了一番又再出发去另一边的卡尔顿山，沿途也路过了王子街花园，不过真的就是个花园再加上天气寒冷就没有进去游览，估计天气暖和花开了的话应该很美。

Princes Street - Edinburgh, the most prosperous street in the whole city of Edinburgh, stretches straight, with a new city on one side and an old city on the other, extending to the foot of the castle. Prince Street is known as "the most beautiful street in the world". The east end of Prince Street is connected with Carlton hill, which is not high. It is the best place to overlook the city and Edinburgh Castle.

出了大教堂天色丝毫没有变暗的迹象，这里的白天感觉比国内要长，我们于是向下一个景点进发——苏格兰国家画廊（National Gallery）。途中经过王子街花园（Princes Street Gardens），可以看见有名的司各特纪念塔，可以登顶，票价4英镑，感觉不值这个价所以没上去就拍了照

吃完早餐就往王子街花园走去，那里有著名的司各特纪念塔，电影《云图》就在这里拍摄的，旁边就是苏格兰国家美术馆，由于早上雨下的有点大，所以就只有到苏格兰国家美术馆里看展了，没想到意外的收获了文艺复兴中三杰中达芬奇和拉斐尔的画作，还有缇香等大师们的作品，也有很多苏格兰本地艺术家的很多优秀画作。
