At the side of Niuhuan shopping mall, I saw it from afar, but I spent all my time shopping and going upstairs, but I didn't enter into it.

Info

St. Martin church is the oldest church in Birmingham. Its history can be traced back to the 12th century. The Red Brick Gothic church that can be seen now was built in the late 19th century. Its designer, Alfred chatterwin, once participated in the design of the parliament building in London. The church's most valuable collection is the large painted glass by Edward Burne Jones. It is said that on April 10, 1941, the bishop of Birmingham at that time urgently ordered the removal and transfer of this large painted glass. That night, German air strikes destroyed all the remaining glass in St. Martin's church. St. Martin's church is next to Niuhuan shopping center. The collision of ancient and modern does not make her existence seem abrupt, but unique.

The church is in the center of the city. It's very convenient. Surrounded by modern buildings, you can take a look along the way.

Located in the heart of Downtown Birmingham, St. Martin church is a typical baroque building with a history of more than 700 years. The exterior of the church is magnificent, especially the red brick walls are covered with green plants, with dark spires and stained glass windows, giving people a sense of vicissitudes and heaviness of history! Unfortunately, I arrived too early to visit.

Just in the center of the city, it's very close to the new street railway station, bullring, Chinatown and terrace food market. Maybe it's because every day I go to school and buy vegetables, I'm familiar with the new scenery, so I don't think it's very special.

We walked all the way down the business street to St. Martin's Church in Birmingham, but it was closed. It seems that Birmingham's attractions are basically within walking distance. After a long walk and dinner, there was only the Birmingham Museum and the art gallery. When we got there, it was five o'clock and we were off work. In fact, Birmingham doesn't have many scenic spots to see. The main purpose of visiting Birmingham is to see Warwick Castle by the way. So for more than two hours, it's almost the same. Look at the time. It's 7 p.m., so I go back to the hotel to have a rest. Here's a sculpture by Birmingham's designers.

This is the church near the shopping center. It's not the earliest church in England, but it's worth visiting.

The church, which is located in the center of the city, looks a little bigger than the cathedral in Birmingham, but it's just a church.
