Like Brittany, the weather in Normandy is always gloomy. The day I went there was grey and rainy. The sea looked like an ordinary sea, a beautiful sea, as if nothing had happened.

Juno Beach and Sword Beach have the same way of arrival. After arriving at St Aubin sur mer, Juno Beach is from ver sur mer to st Aubin sur mer.

At the end of September, it was windy, but not cold. The weather is really great.

I stopped for a look when driving. I don't think it's necessary to go there specially. Almost all the beaches in Normandy are the same.

以美国为首的盟军当时选择了五个登陆点，从西向东，分别是尤他海滩，奥马哈海滩，黄金海滩，朱诺海滩和宝剑海滩。其中，奥马哈海滩两面都是峭壁，易守难攻，德军又在这里重兵把守，美军遭受了最惨重的伤亡，险些失利。超过三千名美国士兵阵亡，将生命永远留在了大西洋彼岸的沙滩上。

啊，竟然在我一堆照片中找到了，就是这张，这实际是从美军公墓到朱诺海滩的途中。可惜的是我坐错了位置，只能从司机的头上照出去了。

嗯，看到了，去年去了诺曼底，犹他海滩 朱诺海滩 剑海滩，看了兄弟连上D DAy攻克的阵地4门88mm炮，今年排个计划再去看看一战的凡尔登啥的，波兰也要列入计划了

Longues-sur-Mer是朱诺海滩（Juno Beach）和奥马哈海滩（Omaha Beach）之间一段居高临下的悬崖，德军在这里修建了四个巨大的混凝土掩体，在里面安置了152mm重型火炮，攻击范围可以达到20公里，朱诺和奥马哈海滩都在它的射程之内。是德军沿大西洋防线（Atlantic Wall）的重要组成部分。

It's beautiful by the sea, but the wind is really strong. It's frozen. The town is very quiet. I haven't been here for a long time. I'll go on my way to San Michel mountain.
