The Victorian Gothic library is also one of the city's finest buildings, a unique way for Mr. Ryland's widow to commemorate her husband, John. The library was renovated on a large scale before 2005, including the addition of a new tourist center, so visitors can now have a look at its magnificent reading room and enjoy the early printed books collected by the library.

The exterior of the library doesn't feel strong. After entering the library, I feel that I have entered the world of Harry Potter in minutes.

I planned not to go to Manchester United's stadium before I came here. I think it's too much to pretend not to be a fan. Highly recommended! It's like a church library. The visit is free. The downstairs floor is the shop and coffee shop.
