It's spectacular, and there are few people. Unlike the Colosseum, there are too many tourists. The arenes was built in 40 B.C., with 26000 seats and 50000 Colosseum seats. In the middle of the field, there are coaches training students to fight.

Arles arena is the most prominent landmark of [Arles] (http://place.qyer.com/arles/), which can be seen anywhere in the city. The arena is a circular arena built in the Roman era, built in 40 BC. It has a length of 136 meters, a width of 107 meters, and can accommodate more than 26000 viewers.

Opening hours: From May to September 9:00-18:30; from March, April and October 9:00-17:30; from November to February 10:00-16:30. Closed on the second weekend of September, Easter weekend, January 1, May 1, November 1 and December 25.

建于古罗马时期的罗马竞技场，有近2000年的历史，但是现在仍在使用。我们去时，听到里面人声鼎沸，不知道里面在干什么，走到门口去看看。守门的人非常友好地挥手让我们进去。进去发现是在举行斗牛表演，观看要买票的 。但已经接近尾声了，守门人没有要我们买票就进去了。法国的斗牛，实际上就是“逗牛”，表演人进到场内，逗牛，牛冲向逗牛人，逗牛的人迅速地逃跑，跳出围栏躲避公牛的攻击。当然，“斗牛人”最后也不会杀死牛。与西班牙的斗牛完全不同。

阿尔勒的古罗马旧建筑遗迹，城市的地标建筑。但比起尼姆的竞技场要小许多了。

The first Colosseum to go to is very spectacular. Sit inside and feel the passing of time. This arena is still in use. Sometimes there are concerts or something.

普罗旺斯南部的小镇阿尔勒不仅有古罗马的遗迹，还以梵高的画作闻名。梵高在离开巴黎后，曾在阿尔勒小住，在这期间，他把这座古城的很多元素都记录在了画布上。我们循着梵高的画作，有幸拜访了画中景：黄房子 The Yellow House，阿尔勒竞技场 Arles Amphitheatre，黄色咖啡馆 Le Café Van Gogh 等等。小城的旅游局很贴心的在当年梵高作画的周围摆放了其画作的复制品，让游人有更好的体验。

阿尔勒，这个因梵高而出名的法国南部小城，至今仍然保存着梵高画作中的“夜间露天咖啡馆”、“朗卢桥”、“阿尔勒竞技场”等地标建筑。在市郊的圣雷米，游客们仍能在夏夜看到《星月夜》中的梦幻星空。阿尔勒这座城市曾因梵高在此激发创作灵感而闻名，吸引了不少的外国人前来观赏感受游玩。
