I don't think it's funny. Maybe the expectation is too high. In fact, except for selling wine, it's no different from ordinary European towns. If it's a wine lover, it's probably different. You can take a panoramic picture of the small town and go to the tourist center to buy a ticket. St Emilion is a famous wine producing area and World Heritage Town, located to the east of Bordeaux. Drive (about 45 minutes) or take a bus from the Gare Saint Jean railway station in Bordeaux (about 40 minutes); walk from the railway station to the center of town for about 20 minutes.

At the tourist center, I bought a ticket and reported to a private group of up to 8 people. The whole journey was guided by driving staff, including two wineries' visit, explanation and wine tasting. It's very convenient and worth 35 euros for one person The railway station in the small town is really the most rudimentary without a decent platform and ticket machine. I bought a return ticket when I went there!!! The foie gras in town is delicious! Recommend the purest red can! There are also duck livers. I prefer goose livers to duck livers. They taste more salty
