The Birmingham Museum and Museum of art is located in the auxiliary building of the city hall, which is open to the public free of charge. This is a huge and luxurious building not under the city hall itself, which is exactly the glorious background of the Victorian era. This article introduces how Birmingham gradually became the second largest city in Britain, including the changes of urban construction and people's life. Of course, the focus is undoubtedly on the industrial revolution. But the museum's biggest attraction is not Birmingham's local history, but a variety of Victorian art works, including pre Raphael oil paintings, as well as a large number of Birmingham local craftsmen's works. At one time, Birmingham was the world's main production base of metal and glass, so the exhibits included a large number of iron and glass products; also in that glorious Victorian era, Birmingham was the jewelry production center of England and even the world, so there were many kinds of glittering gold and silver wares and jewelry. Of course, as the center of the once brilliant world empire, you can also see some exotic cultural relics such as Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Inca and Maya on the top floor of the museum, but the quantity and quality are far less than that of British, and even far less than that of Fitzwilliam in Cambridge.

It's very good. It's free. You can see it on Victoria Square in the center of the city. The front door faces a fountain. As soon as you enter the door, go straight to the right, and the stairs with artistic texture are equal to starting the tour. Religious oil paintings will first come into view. The whole dome is full of oil paintings, which are very beautiful and artistic. Then there are two main doors to visit art and Birmingham history. All the exhibitions are very good, especially in the period of owl colored sculpture, which has special exhibitions and is very lovely. What's more impressive is a special exhibition area of iron window and iron door carving art. The art process can be seen through the order of exhibition.

The museum and the art gallery are together. The same building has different floors, and the entrance is on the southwest side of the square building (next to Chamberlain Square). Up to the second floor is the art gallery. First of all, there is a round exhibition hall, in which there are many oil paintings on different themes. Then enter the square exhibition hall with serial number, roughly sorted by age, from the 15th century to 2015. However, the structure of the exhibition hall is complex, and the order of several rooms is disordered. There are not only interactive games directly related to the exhibits, but also simple amusement areas. Volunteers will organize small-scale activities in different periods. Go upstairs to the museum. It's worthy of the British Empire. Casually take out a pile of unearthed cultural relics from ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, etc. to show you, and tell you that this is only a small part of their collection... In the case of limited time, it's better to have a look at modern Birmingham life than the ancient exhibits. There are a lot of industrial elements in modern British paintings. They are very proud of the industrial revolution. It reminds people of the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games, as well as the words "too TM has culture" that I said at that time...

Birmingham Museum and art museum are two in one, divided into three layers, not very big. All of them are centered on Birmingham, displaying its development and changes and the paintings of local painters. In addition, there is a special Anglo Saxon exhibition with many interactive links, which is quite interesting. After coming out of the museum, the blue sky suddenly disappeared, became gray, and the visibility was extremely reduced. The whole Birmingham seemed to be undergoing Beijing transformation. Before, whether in London or Ireland, I felt cold just because of the strong wind. Under the same equipment, I really felt cold and soaked in my bones, let alone during the day. Take out your cell phone and check the weather. Birmingham is 1 degree now! This makes me even more timid. Why don't you swim in the cement forest.

Put down our luggage and we walked about five minutes to Victoria Square. Along the way, the streets are clean, there are many coffee shops and restaurants, the city is very modern, and flowers are blooming on both sides of the road. Let your mood suddenly open. Below is the Birmingham Museum and gallery on Victoria Square. It's a pity that when we went, the family had already been off work, so we couldn't go in for a visit.

Twice. Did you apply for a visa at a nearby post office? Why do I need to go to the post office to get a visa? Ha ha ha The second time, with CF. A day trip to Birmingham. We waited at the door early in the morning. Hahaha, there are still others waiting for the door like us. There are not many people. When it's time, the man standing in front, lady first? I'm welcome. I'm the first one to go in. Hahaha, there's nothing to be proud of. It's just fun. It's really serious. It's almost turned around. There is no interpreter. History, culture and nature are all finished! The top floor also has Birmingham history. I think I'll miss it.

Highlights: a hall in Burne Jones, several halls in front of Rafael, a small archaeological exhibition in the corner of the first floor, and a glass inlaid exhibition hall beside the round hall. Birmingham's development history is a feature, but the exhibits are not very good-looking. Those in ancient Greece and Egypt can't compare with those in Britain. The former Raphael's paintings are many and excellent. It's easy to find. And it's been rearranged recently. After two days of watching it, I always felt that the business was not very good. For example, I was looking forward to the new exhibition, but there was only one small hall Some places have not been arranged well. I have never seen so many museums where exhibits have been removed. I don't think people will look carefully But the first floor is good, with the world's largest watercolor painting, and Burne Jones's manuscript for many church decorations, which is very shocking. Many of the original works are in the Tate National Museum in London. His family has collected 2400 BJ works, only a small part of them are released (it's a pity that we can't see all of them). It can be seen that all of them are excellent works, which is especially worth seeing. The only thing I don't like is the lighting. I have been to many art galleries. This is the worst lighting. There are many useless decorative light sources on the roof. Before Rafael's oil paintings are basically a group of small spotlights from a high place against the painting. It looks like a strong light. You can't see clearly by looking at the details of the painting, only the glass is very reflective. Color glass is also, no light source really can't see color! The staff was very friendly and helped me find the lost scarf. Both the water and gas halls are rented, and there is no exhibit. Remember to find the staff to ask for the map. The exhibition hall is very complex. Without the map, you will definitely miss several small halls upstairs.
