3月19日晚上10.00刚从埃及归来。想一想，昨儿早上还在金字塔，中午穿梭在大碰碰车游戏场的开罗通往机场路上，今天一早还真不太适应循规蹈矩的荷兰高速路，静静的办公楼无法挡住来自远方埃及喧闹的回忆。
在去埃及前，发现了穷游，几乎把所有关于埃及游记读了一遍，再次谢谢各位游侠！一本Lonely Planet，一叠穷游的埃及游记，帮我完成了两周的埃及之旅（3月5日至19日）。虽然我读了万卷书，可行万里路时我还是受了骗，吃了亏，但更多的是快乐的亲身体验。第一周我们主要游尼罗河谷，写的人很多，这里不会太多重复，第二周从D8-D11我们在沙漠闯荡了4天3夜，Luxor出发,最终到达Hurghada，历经4个绿洲，跨越1600公里，其中感受非常难忘和留恋，那里的埃及人和物同开罗与Hurghada的人很不一样，朴实善良，我要侧重介绍沙漠。以下是15天的大概行程和费用，费用没有贯彻穷游宗旨，而是本着随意原则。用英文以免地名混淆。
D1: fly from Amsterdam to Cairo, find hotel and wander around in Nile River and downtown. Sleep in Meramees Hotel (80EP db room)

D2: rent a car (150 EP) to Pyramids in Dashur (Red Pyramid), Saqqara and Giza, got cheated by camel dealer in Giza
D3: Khalili Market, Islamic Mosques, got cheated by a taxi drive, Cairo Egyptian Museum, take night sleeping train to Aswan (45 Euro pp)
D4: 8.30am arrive in Aswan, rent a car (40EP) to Unfinished Obelisk, Aswan High Dam, Temple of Philae boat trip to Elephant Island and Kitchener’s Island
Sleep in Nubian Oasis Hotel (40 EP db rm)
D5: early morning to Abu Simbul, back to catch a Nile Cruise, afternoon arrive in Temple of Kom-Ombo
Sleep in 5-star Nile Cruise, $ 60 per person per night
D6: Nile Cruise continued. Morning arrive in Temple of Horus, evening arrive in Luxor
D7: Temple of Luxor, Temple of Karnak
Sleep in Princess Hotel (30EP), find a desert safari tour with driver and guide (225 Euro pp, incl everything + drive to Hurghada), it is worthwhile!
D8: Valley Kings, Temple of Hatcheapsut, Workermen’s Village, go to desert, pass by Kharga Oasis and southest city of Baris then arrive in Qasr ad-Dush
Camping in the desert
D9: from Qasr ad-Dush to Qasr al-Ghueita & Qasr AZ-Zayyan, then continue to Kharga Oasis, visit city of Al-Kharga, Temple of Hibis, Necropolis of Al-Bagawat, Monastery of Al-Kashef
After lunch, drive to Dakhla Oasis, a small but very nice Ethnographic Museum and hot spring under the moonlight
D10: visit Old city of Mut, old town Al-Qasr, mummy tombs of low class people. After lunch drive through Farafra Oasis and arrive in White Desert, camping in White Desert
D11: See sunrise in White Desert, Black desert and zip a cup of tea in Bahariyya Oasis. After than, drive to Hurghada via Cairo
Sleep in Sea Horse Hotel (50 Euro pp for 3 nights + snorkeling)
D12: Hurghada swimming and Relaxation
D13: go with a boat, whole day snorkeling
D14: take a bus from Hurghada back to Cairo, shopping for a beautiful Oriental carpet, see Sufi dance at night,
Sleep in Lialy Hostel (60EP db rm)
D15: go to Giza Pyramid again and leave for the airport, arrive in Schiphol Amsterdam at 22.00
